♠ Card Coach

Terms of Use

Effective October 6, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Card Coach app for iPhone and iPad (the "App"), developed by Michael Gecawicz ("we", "us"). The App is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to the Standard EULA; if the two conflict, the Standard EULA controls.

1. Entertainment and education only

The App simulates poker and blackjack for training purposes. All chips, bankrolls, and winnings in the App are play money with no cash value. They cannot be purchased, redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for money, prizes, or anything of value. The App does not offer real-money gambling.

2. No guarantee of results

Hints, recommendations, statistics, strategy charts, and reviews are based on mathematical models and simplifying assumptions (for example, opponents' hands modeled as random, or blackjack odds computed for an infinite shoe). They are provided for learning and may not be accurate in every situation. Success in the App does not mean you will win real-money games. Never gamble more than you can afford to lose.

3. Card counting and local rules

The App teaches card counting as a mathematical skill. Casinos may refuse service to players they suspect of counting, and rules for gambling vary by location. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws and venue rules that apply to you.

4. Age requirement

The App is intended for adults aged 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).

5. Acceptable use

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by the Standard EULA or applicable law.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any losses — including gambling losses in real-money games — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App.

7. Changes

We may update these terms when the App changes. The effective date above shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised terms.
