Privacy Policy
The short version: Card Coach doesn't collect, store, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking, and it never connects to the internet.
Who we are
Card Coach is developed by Michael Gecawicz ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the Card Coach app for iPhone and iPad (the "App") handles information.
Information we collect
None. The App does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information or usage data. In particular, the App does not:
- require or offer an account, sign-in, or registration;
- include advertising, analytics, or third-party software development kits;
- track you across apps or websites, or use the advertising identifier;
- access your contacts, location, photos, camera, microphone, or other personal data;
- make any network connections. All game logic, hints, and session reviews are computed on your device.
Information stored on your device
The App saves a single preference — whether sound effects are on or off — in your device's local app storage so it's remembered next time. Game sessions, hands, statistics, and reviews exist only in memory while you play and are discarded when you leave a session or close the App. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
Deleting the App removes this stored preference from your device.
Information Apple may provide
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash reports and app usage statistics. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We use such reports only to fix bugs.
Children
The App is intended for adults and is rated 18+ on the App Store because it simulates casino games. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children.
Your rights
Because we don't collect or hold personal information, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Your rights under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA are respected by design. If you have a question about your privacy, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If the App's handling of information ever changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
